VMSMEA’s Satellite AIS provides effective communication among ship-to-shore which significantly improves situational awareness and better vessel identification, tracking and navigation. It also aids in search-and-rescue operations ensuring the security of the people as well as the vessel. LEO‘s picks up the AIS information available from the ships and vessels which is then transported to secured satellite gateway and is provided to customers, govt as raw satellite AIS data.
